🥷 Air Fryer Gang

Finally!! After years of admiring them from afar, I’ve joined the Air Fryer gang.

I’ve had a handful of Air Fryer units sitting in my Amazon Kitchen List and under the ‘Saved for later’ section of my shopping basket for more than a year. I was always hesitant to make the purchase because the Neff built-in convection ovens at home are pretty darn good, and I love using them, but they are clearly no match to the speed of an Air Fryer.

The two bonus reasons I considered getting one are to save on preheating and cooking times and, for argument’s sake, the cost of running them.

A lot of food I cook using the ovens can be done in half the time in the Air Fryer, not to mention even cooked at lower temperatures. With the unit I’ve got, I can even sync foods that require different cooking temperatures and length of cooking time, to start and finish at the same time. It’s brilliant. 

I have had to use the ovens once (to cook a large Pizza) since I got the Air Fryer almost two weeks ago now. Maybe it’s the novelty, and it’ll wear off, but more than likely the ovens will continue to see less usage.

👨🏾‍🍳 This appliance won’t by any means turn me into a Michelin Star Chef, but gaddamn, I love the convenience and speed of using an Air Fryer. 

I’ll take any quality of life improvement I can get.
