🌡️ Rest Day

A truly beautiful sun-shining Sunday with a lovely cool breeze.

Temperature: 🌡️ 23 °C / 73 °F. Anything around 25 °C, I’m cool with, nowadays. Gone are the days when 30 °C was nothing to me. The hotter, the better, I used to quip when people expressed to me how hot and uncomfortable it was for them. I’m not sure if it's because of acclimatisation rapidly progressing as I age, I run for shelter and shade the moment temperatures hit anything close to 30 °C nowadays.

Today is the kind of day I usually cherish, being outdoors for whatever. Just be out there; hiking, picnicking, dog walking, footy kick-about at the park with the lads or out and about on whatever my little rascals chose to do.

However, sadly, my body today says NO! Physically tired after a couple of weeks of working 6 days a week. With two more weeks of the same before I have a week off, I decided to take a rest day today, with no physical activity. Admiring the gorgeous sun shining day from indoors. 

So as I’m typing this, I’m slumped on the sofa, music in the background, following along with the final day of the English Premier League and feeling relaxed.
