💡Entry Format Idea

Officially introducing Cham•Informal, I mentioned how I haven’t managed to come up with a robust and unique use case for this side personal blog. I have since come to the realisation that perhaps a defined use case was not necessary. It’s a side personal informal blog, after all, which calls for an eclectic mix of entries.

Instead, I should focus on a blog posting format to maintain simplicity and create a bit of identity. It’s certainly nothing new nor am I the first to adopt this format, but I think it suits how I wish to use this blog.

The Format:

• Short post titles preceded by a relevant Emoji (Did I tell you how much I love Emojis? 🤩)
• Short and casual entries; 500 words or fewer! (Exceptions will be made where necessary)
• A Featured Image, if required (I’m a visual guy, and I like how the post image previews look on the homepage)

That’s it, nothing complicated or overbearing. This will be the format for the foreseeable future, that is, unless I have another one of those thought-infested long showers again and a new idea is born. Any new additions to the above format, I’ll edit and update this entry.
